Cloudshill Writing Services was established in 2007 by a qualified journalist and proofreader with several years experience in the industry. Our chief partner Jayne has always had a flair for creative writing, winning her first poetry competition at the tender age of eight.
After settling into a career in the finance sector, Jayne realised that the aspect of her work she most enjoyed was the financial report writing. This rekindled her love of writing and she took the decision to study journalism, qualifying in 1992 with an Honours Diploma. This was followed a few years later by a qualification in proof reading.
This has led to more than 15 years of diverse and varied writing with work appearing in several, often specialised publications and more recently, advancing into websites.
Our portfolio is also somewhat diverse and includes projects for a stove and heating retailer, a financial adviser, an auto body shop and a property developer. Sometimes such projects become quite technical or specialised but we tend not to let that bother us. We believe that given enough of the right background information or with a little research, nothing is impossible.
Web Writing has become one of the biggest aspects of our work as people rely more and more on the internet as a major part of their business.
